Hi everyone,
Yippie School's Back...
Hope you all had an exciting school holidays, we just stayed home and got some spring cleaning done and some sewing projects finished.
These are the quilts I made for my daughter that I posted about in my previous post.
I am so happy with the pillow cases as they were made out of scraps, its amazing that you can go out and spend a fortune on fabric and be happy with the end result but to use your left over scraps in creative ways is so exciting..
Anyway kiddies are arriving home from school and they will be starving of course, thats all my children do is eat, lucky we dont live in a gingerbread house we would have no roof over our heads...LOL...

Just For Fun
Hi Everyone,
This is a little fun project i did the other day just for fun...
It was a pattern in a homespun magazine, to make a soft toy,
BUT instead of filling him with stuffing i used wheat instead...
Now i can put him in the microwave and warm him up just like a heat bag only with more character...

Well it all comes down to doing the washing or doing some sewing, tonight the sewing wins.
After a quick tidy of my sewing area, which is in my bedroom at the moment, as my beautiful (when they are asleep) twins (m&m) are in my study / sewing room,
This is a quilt i am making for my darling miss Chels,
It is made using Butterfly Fling fabric from Moda,
I am hopeing to make two, one for each bed,
If i have enough fabric that is...

My 1st
This is my very first project,
This is what got me hooked onto patchwork,
We were living with my parents while our house was being built and going to a patchwork class down the road was my escape from the mad house, (4 adults, 3 teenagers, 2 toddlers, and 1 baby) it really was a mad house !!!!
But will forever be grateful to my parents for their help xox
